What is the diameter of the base and how far does the foot rest protrude?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - we have the base at 15" wide, with the footrest extending 7 1/2" from center of the pole.
Is the white a stalk white or more cream in color?

Great price and barstool
We have had them for two months or so. And are really happy with them. I use them all the time on the kitchen island, for breakfast or just working.
I was afraid they would not be sturdy enough, but they are.
