I want to replace an antique brass sconce that I had installed but I have another and since we're selling the house I didn't want to leave the one. The entry hall is where it will go and it's connected to the sitting area/dining room. The walls are a yellow gold with a custom green below an eight foot wooden dentrice strip so this art glass with certain of the same colors! Perfect and a fresh looking addition to the home for buyers to enjoy as well!

BEST ANSWER: Hi! It shines mostly upward but of course the bottom a little part shines downwards. It’d q beautiful sconce. If you need q pic let me know. I’m a designer and love this lights work with your lights. Have a hem on a dimmer and look gorgeous.

BEST ANSWER: It can but will require modifications to the light. Any modifications made will void the warranty.
This fixture is 13 inch high. Where does it attach in the back to the wall? I need something that extends down on the wall.

BEST ANSWER: This site won't let me attach photos so you could see if it will work for you. The glass attaches to a small box that holds the bulb, and that box installs to the wall. One thing to know ahead of time is that the glass has a bit of an opalescent color to it. For us, we like it.

Beautiful!
I put two sconces in my bathroom and they provide ample lighting for regular needs. However, I do not put makeup on in this light. The only warning on these sconces is that the pattern on the glass varies - you need to look at a few out of the box to buy two that complement each other and that have similar patterns.

Quality Appearance and Construction
I installed the sconce on the wall of a small bedroom that had no other wall/ceiling lighting. It is very easy to install wiring it directly since it does not come with a cord. It's possible to use a cord but you need to buy that separately. It is of better than average quality and it produces a very pleasant diffused light both above and below the sconce. My wife and I are both very pleaed with this purchase. The actual color of the glass is lighter than the picture but it has the same tones. I highly recommend this sconce - it's very good value.

Beautiful and excellent price!
Used this n a living room for ambiance. It's perfect. With the 13 watts cfl bulb it puts out a lot of warm light. We've now rethought our lighting in the room and are going to order a couple more. The only thing that surprised us ( but it looks good) is the iridescence of the glass. Didn't get that from the description or picture. The full size print out of products was the deciding factor when we bought this. [...]

I was amazed when I saw this light in the store! The picture on-line does not do it justice!!!! The glass is absolutely stunning and everyone that sees it says wow!

beautiful glow
Gives a beautiful glow, similar to more expensive natural stone shades. The glass shade has a coat of plastic to give color and texture. I had thought the color would part of the glass. My concern is the plastic layer may fail or be damaged over time.

Looks much nicer than I had expected.

Overall very nice
Even though each blown glass has its unique appearance, I was a bit upset that these two sconces looked so different. Once we had them up on the wall it wasn't as noticeable, but still feel that there were too many varying bumps in the glass.

Gorgeous!

Beautiful sconce, good quality
This sconce is really beautiful and would have worked perfectly on my staircase wall, however, there is a pearlescent quality to it that I could not see in the picture that I don't really like. Not that the pearlescence isn't pretty - it is...just not what I was going for.
