If hanging horizontally, what is the clearance needed for changing bulb? How many inches are required on either side?Does the shade come off?
A shopper on Oct 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You need 3.5 inches on either side without light bulb and 7 inches on either side with light bulb. Yes the shade comes off by removing one screw that sits on the inside of the shade.
What does relamping clearance mean? If I'm going to install a sconce vertically, does it mean I need at least 15 inches above the fixture to change the bulb?
Nacha L on Aug 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, if installing vertically you will need about 15 or 16 inches above fixture to change the bulb.
